Mechanical Botanical was launched in October 2000 by Mike Berry to serve the grower and was appointed as the sole UK importers for the well-known Mayer range of equipment.  An extensive product range manufactured by one of the horticulture industry leaders, the Mayer selection includes potting machines, transplanters, conveyor systems, soil sterilising machines, automatic pot placers and trayfillers.

Over the last 26 years, Mike has helped provide practical and ergonomic solutions to growers, nurseries and research stations in Britain, Europe and the USA.

Our service engineers have first-hand experience of the growing process and have an in-depth understanding of horticulture and the machinery used. 

The horticultural market has become increasingly sophisticated over recent years.  Consumers expect consistent quality and variety, and the machinery we supply must meet the high production standards of the grower.
